From February 2023 to the present I have worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for the primary care office of Joseph C.
Jr. DO. I have managed worked in a busy environment multi-tasking patient care by triaging patients, taking vital signs, collecting important health information, weighing patients, and filling prescriptions through fax or escribe. I provided comfort to patients and counseled them and there families throughout the care process, delivered updates in patient status to my supervisor, gathered lab specimens, and responded to patient requests with appropriate clinical and personal assistance.
From 2013 to the present I have worked as a caregiver for my little brother who has special needs under the supervision of my parents, David Foster Sr., L.P.N. and Angela Foster, L.P.N. have assisted with getting him fed, dressed, bathed, brushing teeth, and administering medicine when necessary. I helped him intensively with school work and balance playtime with limited screen time to support development of fine motor, gross motor and cognitive skills. I keep him safe in a healthy environment, providing emotional security.
From 2017 to 2019 I attended the practical nursing program at Suncoast Technical College. During my time there I gained experience in many different nursing homes through Sarasota Fl. Many of the tasks I did at the nursing home include patient assessment, vital sign checks, medication administration, dressing changes, feeding through gastrostomy tubes, C.N.A. work and various other tasks. I graduated in 2019 with a cumulative G.P.A. of 4.0
