I am a dedicated professional with a decade in visual arts education, excelling in curriculum development, education administration, and servant leadership. 7 years of visual arts leadership and advocacy, showcasing expertise in fostering innovative programs and educational growth.
For the past years I've held several leadership positions in the arts field. I've been the Visual Art Facilitator for Pearland ISD, the Director of the UHCL Art School for Children and Young Adults, and most recently the Interim Director of the Bayou Theater and Cultural Arts. I've facilitated many events like a local arts conference, art festival, and an upcoming open house vendor fair for the university.

Program Leadership: In the summer of 2024, due to program expansion I was able to hire the first full-time staff since program started in the 70s.
After School Programming: Post-pandemic, successfully rebuilt our after-school programming, now operational at 10 sites.
Budget Management: Maintained a consistently balanced budget, securing a funding increase from 120k to 160k, showcasing financial acumen and program sustainability.
