Identify problems and resolution of all issues that arise overnight to expedite freight while minimizing cost. Multi-tasking issues for drivers, customers, and service centers nationwide. Recover extra loads nationally.
Process interchanges on recovery resolutions. Alert destination of delays, notate orders. Training of all Rail websites. Review, bill, and track loaded rail trailers nationally. Work with OS&D utilizing ORBCOMM and Reefer Trak systems to preserve product, also on troubled loads to resolve reefer temperature issues.
Get trainee drivers set up with travel to motels and lodging.
Safety on call, Risk Management, breakdown dept., destination on accidents.
Hotline with info. Train employees on AS400, ACCOPS, MS systems, rail systems, tracking, alternate coverage, and load swap issues nationally. Assist OTR, LTL, Dedicated, and Plasma drivers with pickup/delivery info nationwide.
Notify CSR/Area Manager of delays. Counseling drivers on problem issues as needed. Compiling reports on problematic areas using various processes to expedite customer products and increase revenue, reporting findings to the area manager.
Track hot orders in detail for the CSR Director utilizing Excel. Maintained deadlines scheduling multiple delivery and pickup appointments within limited parameters successfully for New England, Midwest, and Houston areas.
