Wildlife works was founded in 1997 by Mike Korchinsky with offices in USA, Cambodia, Kenya, and Congo. The mission was to create a market-based solution for Wildlife conservation that provided real, sustainable development to local communities which is, to harness the power of the global consumer to create innovative and sustainable solutions for wildlife conservation. In Kenya, it works mainly with communities living around the project area – adjacent to the ranches where the carbon project is been implemented.

Mike's basic idea is that if you want wildlife you have to make sure it works for local communities.

• Plan/ Organize / facilitates community meetings, workshops, and outreaches to foster dialogue, address concerns and gather input from community members.
• Participate in the planning and coordinating implementation of CSR activities within project area.
• Coordinating the implementation of the stakeholder engagement plan
• Coordinating, identifying, and implementing Community Development Carbon Fund projects
• Representing the company in stakeholder's meetings, liase between company and external partners.
• Assist in reviewing project information and dissemination to stakeholders through appropriate communication channels.
• Assist in the planning and coordinating socio-economic baseline study validation and reports.
• Participate in collecting and analyzing socio-economic data during Strategic Environmental Assessments, Environmental and Social Impact Assessments and prepare reports.
• Preparing sectional budgets for small IGA activities, trainings, and workshop for women.
• Lead family planning, and Women programs within the project area and subsequent manage the approved budgets for the activities.
• Assist mentorship and girl child in- school outreach programs.
• Handling community complaints and reporting grievances to the concerned
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports on activities done. Familiar with reporting tools such as Cluey, focus, wildcats, google forms, odk etc.
• Any other duties assigned.

WEEP COORDINATOR – LOWER TAITA REGION - HEALTH EDUCATION AFRICA RESOURCE TEAM (HEART) - Kenya

HEART is a Christian humanitarian organization, dedicated to empowering the people of Africa to thrive beyond the HIV/AIDS pandemic by providing medical care, education, and income generating activities to create a healthy, sustainable, and disease-free life. It is registered as nonprofit organization (NGO) in the United States and as a TRUST in Kenya, with offices in California, Colorado and Kenya, been the headquarters of Africa. Entrusted with Women Empowerment and Education Programme (WEEP).

• Drug adherence, and follow ups with medication
• Help women start new projects and keep up with the projects
• Health education
• Referrals to hospitals of sick women
• Help women run their SILC meetings and keep up with attendance
• Compiling reports
• Office administration duties and sending timely reports to the relevant authorities
• Maintain a neat, organized archive storage system both soft and hard copies.
• Coordination of the community health education and nutrition programs
• Identify or develop culturally acceptable information and community educational (IEC) health materials.
• Selection of training topics, speakers, guests in conjunction with the training topics and theme, and ensure consistency of messages is disbursed to the women.
• Monitor training conducted by field officers and invited motivational speakers.
• Lead a health and nutrition-based Bible Studies to the women and beneficiaries, give hope and encouragement.
