Hello! My name is DeOnne Stokes and I’m 18 years old and I live in California. As of right now I am a college student but I am on a break and I return in the fall so I have been looking and applying for jobs. In the meantime I work for my parents they have their own event planner company where we get hired to do elegant decor for events. I am a very outgoing person and I have such a high-spirited personality. When it comes to customer service I work well in that area even though I don’t have much work experience and I still learn from the family company which is actually called Jays Dream Decor. I attend Jackson State University which is a HBCU all the way in Mississippi. I chose to go all the way out there because my passion has always been to go to a HBCU so my choices were JSU or Grambling which is another HBCU. I chose JSU because we were familiar with it being that my moms friend graduated from there. Just a little insider it is really a great experience. A really memorable experience.
