• interface between the Operations Group and the Mechanical Supervisor to help prioritize and plan repairs - also, trained in Project Management
• Qualified to read Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams
• Inspect, repair, and test boilers and auxiliary support equipment throughout the facility - this includes both Corrective and Preventative Maintenance. Ability to use UT instruments, analyze and map the data for boiler
• Mechanical drives and conveyor systems expert; pump repair and rebuild; air compressor repair and overhaul
• Designated a system expert on all Front End Loaders on the site (Volvo L120, L90C, and L90E). Also, a certified forklift instructor, responsible for training and proficiency of all site personnel on Covanta forklifts
• Confined Space Rescuer - responsible for all potential rescue aspects with personnel entering Permit Required and Alternate Confined Spaces
• 6G Pipe Welder; State of Connecticut 3G Structural Welder; proficient pipefitter
• Safety, Environmental, and Health Committee member and chairman
• Designated a 'Competent' scaffold builder /inspector.
