Don Bechtel

I am a retired veteran that earned a BS in Computer Science and a Masters Degree in Information Systems. I enjoy challenging work and excel at troubleshooting issues both hardware and software. I have been a traveling electronics technician for the past 14 years supporting the US Army in the field on major training exercises. I have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

I am proficient in most windows operating systems, familiar with MAC OS, Linux, and CISCO IOS. I have supported hardware and software in my current job, and have a solid understanding of network architecture. I am familiar with wired and wireless technologies. I am a Dell certified technician in laptops, servers and switches. My current work has me diagnosing and repairing hardware and peripherals. I have been working with electronics for 19 years.

I have a BS in computer science from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and a Masters Degree in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. I have taken many training courses geared toward supporting the war fighters of the US Army in the past 9 years.
