I am a robotics graduate student interested in the area of computer vision classical/ DL based approaches
At John Deere, I was responsible for the product design of chassis components for utility tractors (75 - 125 hp) catering to North American and European markets. I was responsible for the design and development of various subsystems such as hydraulic integration, tire and wheels, and rear hitch. I handled mainly the 3d modeling, drawing creation, supplier discussions, and test participation for product development as per industry requirements.
I also supported continuous improvement and cost reduction activities where I worked on globally common design creation for the cooling system, instrument panel support structure, tire and wheels for cost reduction and weight reduction. I was the primary SPOC for the utility tractor team for org-level initiative Analysis Led Design, where I worked on and trained/ helped other teammates to perform a preliminary analysis of low-fidelity subsystem models in Altair SimSolid and topology optimization in Altair Inspire.
