Ive been a sub contractor for the forest service for 10 years doing CSEs, stocking surveys, marking timber etc. I also do residential construction on the side.
Extensive field experience conducting stand exams, stocking surveys, and timber marking across multiple states, including work for the U.S.
Service. Skilled in accurately identifying tree species, measuring height, diameter, and age, determining crown class and crown ratio, and assessing tree health and damage. Proficient in evaluating understory vegetation, invasive species presence, and ground coverage percentages. Experienced in mark-to-cut and mark-to-stay methods to prescribed basal areas, boundary marking, and mapping stands using GPS/GIS tools. Known for delivering accurate, detailed data ahead of deadlines while adapting to diverse forest conditions and management objectives.
Completed associate degree in forest science from the Pennsylvania college of technology and wood products from the Pennsylvania state university.
Ive worked for Chestnut Ridge forestry and contracted under my llc brushy hollow forestry. Ive completed thousands of common stand exams, stocking surveys, timber marking and more while sub contacting for the USFS in 10 plus states.
