However, my time spent at the American Institute of Dental Assisting provided me with the basics of understanding the role of a dental assistant. With this I learned skills in assisting the dentist during a procedure, setting up and breaking down operatories, sterilization, infection control, and use of x-ray equipment.

With my time spent at Bright Dentistry, I learned how to be more efficient in the skills I learned while pursuing my education.

I started a new chapter at Imagine Kids Dentistry in July 2025. I learned to be more efficient in a dental workplace environment with patients. My time as a dental assistant there taught me not only how to be the best I can be for patients, but for myself. Working at Imagine Kids taught me how to be patient and kind.
