Hello! My name is Elizabeth, I’ve worked in customer service since 2015. I’ve done various things within the field including ; cashier, lumber, shipping clerk, pick and pack, restock/down stock, etc. I was a rides associate at one point, so I have great people skills! Customer service is my thing since I love being a helping and guiding hand. I’m also open to branching out and trying new things as long as you are willing to give me a chance. I can assure you I am the worker of your dreams!
My first ever job was for this place called Showcase home of the hottest trends in the Lehigh valley mall. I was interview while they were still constructing the store and was hired on the spot to work after school for $10 an hour. I did typical sales work. I stocked, cleaned, worked the register, tested and showcased items for customers.
As rides attendant at Dorney park and wildwater kingdom I was in charge of the safety of all children and guests in the park. I was hired to work planet Snoopy so I had the pleasure of working with wonderful kids. Making sure the rides were always up to code & safe for them to ride.
I worked a few adult rides here and there. But ultimately loved the kids. I was in direct charge of the rides, making them go. I interacted with everyone, answered any questions and/or concerns, cleaned and monitored the park as well.
My job as head gardener at the Home Depot was to take care and manage the garden center. I constantly restocked/down stocked to ensure customers had all the materials needed to have a beautiful garden. I helped build some materials, I helped load and unload heavy materials, I gave instructions and advice on how to care for plants.
I helped customers by answering any and every question that asked, whether that was in person or over the phone. Eventually, I branched out to the rest of the store. I did order picking and packing. I worked in lumber, loading, building, flagging, etc.
I was training to officially be a cashier as well.
I was hired as the part time shipping clerk for Matthat jerky! A small business created by a young boy. My job was to stock, package packets of beef jerky & prepare the packages for shipment! I was suppose to work 3-5 hours.
However, over time I was made to work overtime to do secretary/intern work. They also had me make, and bag the actual jerky. I helped them out with marketing and ran the business' social media pages. I did a lot of customer service work.
I would be the direct contact for any and all customers. I answered phone calls & wrote emails. I worked with doordash and did cashier work when customers would come to the building.
I graduated from Louis E. Dieruff High school in 2019, and will be attending classes again soon!
