I love interviewing people, creating events to bring people together, and using my skills as an editor to make people's words express what they want to say to the world. When I'm not working, I volunteer for several animal rescues, and I am active in the local political scene.
I have been working in communications, publicity, marketing, editorial, and broadcast media. I have interviewed politicians, community leaders, and non-profit heads to promote the work they do. I was a news anchor/reporter for 15 years, and have since moved into the editorial process with a book publishing company.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Journalism and a minor in Spanish.
