Elizabeth Shafer

Hello! I’m Elizabeth (Lizzy) Shafer. A little bit of background on me, I am from Pueblo, Colorado, and, moved to Colorado Springs in 2018. I am 23 years old and I am going to school for a philosophy psychology double major and plan to start graduate school by next year.

I give 110%, 100% of the time and I love to work. I am always committed to my job no matter what the task is, I always get it done and always do more than what is expected of me. I have a lot of background in customer service and satisfaction.

I work very well in a team and on my own. I have a very outgoing personality so it’s easy for me to get along with and work alongside others. I am deadline drive, have immaculate attention to detail, have critical thinking skills, and I’m extremely efficient and organized.

I always think outside the box and see what I can do to help my team and I give 100% toward customer satisfaction.

I am currently employed at Olive Garden and have been for 5 years. I was the head certified trainer creating the new standard for training servers at our restaurant. I started training during the pandemic and there were no guidelines for training, so I stepped up and created an entire training book in detail of days, quiz questions, and expectations for new hires.

My managers know me as going above and beyond for everything. I am an employee that they can always rely on to talk to the team, and get them in a more positive mindset, and I am always reliable to stay behind and help other team members throughout the restaurant that need it.
