I am a data science and finance graduate who is pursuing a master's degree in asset management at Yale School of Management, expected to graduate in May 2024. I am passionate about applying my data analytics and modeling skills to solve challenges in the financial market and create value for society through investment.
In my previous internships, I have demonstrated my ability to utilize programming tools (such as Python, SQL, and machine learning) to deliver impactful results and insights. As a Data Scientist Intern at Apple, I completed a data analytics project tracking the performance of e-wallets in the Asian market, designed data metrics for cost saving, and developed an automated data pipeline and interactive dashboard. As a Quant Research Assistant at a top-tier investment bank in China, I automated the pipeline to model sentiment in companies' reports, applied machine learning models to predict stock prices, and improved the portfolio optimization strategy, increasing the annualized return by 2.48%.
I have also developed strong communication and interpersonal skills, which have enabled me to build relationships with clients and stakeholders, manage projects from start to finish, and work independently and collaboratively. I have received multiple recognition awards for my academic performance and professional achievements.
