Elle Robinson

I am a junior in high school with significant volunteer experience in fundraising, club management, and community service programs. I have worked with organizations such as Girl Up, Rocklin's Adopt a Creek Program, and Fieldhaven. I am seeking employment to gain experience in the beauty industry, as I plan to attend cosmetology school and pursue a degree in social work after high school.

My professional experience thus far is related to my volunteer work. I have significant volunteer experience in fundraising, club management, and community service programs. I have worked with organizations like Girl Up, raising money for personal products for women living in a Sacramento women's shelter; Rocklin's Adopt a Creek Program, cleaning away debris from the Secret Ravine Creek that runs through Rocklin; and Fieldhaven, feeding, cleaning, and caring for rescued cats.

I currently attend Sacramento Waldorf High School, where I experience learning in a hands-on environment. I often present my research and writing presentation style, and work in collaborative groups. I have the opportunity to reach classical literature along with my history courses, science courses and math courses.

Unique to Waldorf is an appreciation for nature and working with our hands in multiple facets, such as ceramics, painting, sewing, and carving. My Waldorf education continues to give me a well-rounded education.
