Originally from New York’s Hudson Valley, while working as a shooter/editor for MTV Ellis Bahl wrote and directed the UKMVA winning music video “Breezeblocks” for Alt-J. He then went on to write, direct, and edit music videos for top acts: Steve Lacy, Big Sean, Olivia Rodrigo, Hot Chip, Paris Hilton, The Kills, Angel Olsen, and many others. He has worked with brands such as The Obama Foundation, Conde Nast, Delta Airlines, Moschino, GQ, VH1, and AT&T to develop and execute viral hits that have won things like Gold Clios and D&AD recognition.
Most recently, he was the lead editor of the feature film “Canvas” and wrote the feature film “Honor Farm” for American Zoetrope.
