I am passionate about creating inclusive, engaging, and empowering environments for all students to grow through physical activity. I’m especially driven to support students of all abilities in building confidence, motor skills, and a lifelong love for movement. Through my academic training and hands-on experience, I’ve developed strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and adaptive strategies to meet diverse needs. I’m excited to bring energy, creativity, and a student-centered approach to the next step in my professional journey.
Throughout my college career, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience through numerous practicum placements in a variety of school settings, working with students across different age groups and ability levels. My student teaching further deepened my skills in planning and delivering effective physical education lessons, managing classrooms, and adapting instruction to meet individual needs. In addition to my school-based experience, I worked for the Boys and Girls Club of America, where I led youth programs focused on physical activity, teamwork, and personal development. These opportunities have strengthened my ability to connect with students, foster a positive learning environment, and promote healthy, active lifestyles for all.
I recently earned my bachelor's degree in Physical Education, with additional licensures in Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE) and Coaching. My coursework and field experiences have provided a strong foundation in instructional strategies, adaptive physical education, motor development, and student assessment. This well-rounded education has prepared me to support diverse learners and promote physical wellness in inclusive and engaging ways.
