Emily Seto

I am an art director, graphic designer, and motion designer who specializes in digital campaigns and on set art directing.

I am currently a Senior Graphic Designer at Sol de Janeiro, where I lead digital design initiatives for new product launches across various teams. Collaborating closely with the copywriting and video teams, I ensure that each launch is seamless and impactful.

Before this, I worked as a Designer and Art Director at Wondersauce, a creative agency, where I spearheaded projects for prestigious clients like Lancôme, FIGat7TH, Trove, Nioxin, and Verlas. In this role, I collaborated with strategists and copywriters to bring projects to life, whether for paid and organic social ads, seasonal campaigns, or branding efforts and present to clients and build/maintain strong client relationships. I also directed photoshoots, overseeing teams of both internal and external vendors from pre-production to post-production.

This experience has honed my skills in extensive photo retouching and project management, allowing me to deliver high-quality results for our clients.

With over seven years in design, I excel in managing teams, guiding them from concept to completion, and ensuring design work aligns with creative briefs. My ability to collaborate and oversee various stages of a project ensures high-quality, cohesive outputs. My ability to think conceptually and adapt across industries would make me a valuable asset in shaping projects to meet both client and audience needs.

My portfolio showcases versatility and experimentation, demonstrating design range and innovative approach. In every role I've held, I've rapidly acquired new skills and quickly became the go-to expert within the company, all while ensuring projects stayed on track and deadlines were met. At Wondersauce, this was retouching and on-set art direction; at Sol de Janeiro, it is motion graphics.

Graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Art History.
