Hello! My name is Emma and I am a 24 year old retired Division 1 beach volleyball player turned elementary teacher. I have a passion for writing, sports, the community and children. During the day I am in the classroom, in the afternoon I am involved in the sports world.
I have worked with children since I was 13 years old, including at the YMCA, after school care, in middle school, seminars, in a first grade class and fifth grade classes. In addition, I worked for the Oakland Raiders as a Guest Experience Representative, earning numerous awards for guest experiences. I love working in sports, as well as with children.
I graduated from Saint Marys College with a BA in Justice Community and Leadership in 2020, where I played Division 1 Beach volleyball. Then, I went to San jose State and earned a Masters in Education with a multiple subject teaching credential.
