Emrie Beach

I am a Certified Nurse Midwife with extensive experience as a labor and delivery nurse. I excel in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My passions lie in education and trauma informed care. As a midwife I feel it is my duty to educate women about their bodies and the choices that they have the right to make.

Nursing- Cardiac Stepdown Unit as a new graduate. This role solidified my ability to prioritize, multitask, and clearly communicate within a team.

Nursing- Labor and Delivery as a labor and delivery nurse at Denver's safety net hospital I cared for women of diverse backgrounds. I saw labor and birth of all varieties from low risk to needing multiple surgical teams for safe delivery. This experience gave me confidence in knowing when something was not going well in a birth and confidence in working in a high risk environment.

Midwifery- Birth Center of Denver As a Midwife at the birth center I was responsible for caring from women in the office as well as during labor, birth, and postpartum. At the birth center I gained confidence in my skills as there were only two people in each birth. The birth center also fostered my love of education. I ran Centering Pregnancy classes, a group prenatal model.

I graduated with my Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnatti in 2021
