Eric is the CEO and principal science entertainer of Eric Energy.

Eric has followed a natural path that inevitably led to his company’s status as the premier science entertainment company in the Baltimore/Washington/Northern Virginia region. Team Eric Energy truly makes learning science fun.

Having built a strong foundation as a communicator and an organizer, Eric took on the challenge of starting his own business, one that would combine all of his experience and his talents. Over the past 25 years, Eric has become a proven commodity as an entertainer and an educator, winning rave reviews from parents, teachers, program coordinators and, especially, kids as he captures the attention and the imagination of audiences throughout the region. Eric’s shows are magical…offering a learning experience that is also vibrantly full of fun.

As he pursued his business career, Eric gained experience as a sales representative in nationally-known educational toy stores and as a presenter for a science education company, ultimately leading to a promotion to Operations Manager. In that capacity, Eric developed his ability to book events, promote programs and hire staff members. His experience brought him to a variety of venues, providing educational entertainment services to a wide range of children in schools, camps and private parties.

Eric’s efforts led to a position as Program Director for a large religious institution. There he honed his craft further by developing diverse programs for families and children, utilizing his creativity, knowledge and personality.

During his years at the State University of New York at Albany, Eric distinguished himself as a student and a student leader, earning a coveted President’s Award for “enhancing the quality of life at the University at Albany.” Eric graduated with a dual degree in Communications and Business.
