- Collect packages or documents from various locations, including businesses, homes, or distribution centers.
- Organize and/or categorize items based on delivery routes, size, or destination to optimize the delivery process.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transportation, including and not limited to loading and unloading items from the vehicle safely.
- Navigating through a designated delivery route efficiently using GPS or navigation tools as needed.
- Ensure that packages are delivered on time and to the correct recipients adhering to delivery schedules and deadlines.
- Interact with customers or recipients to confirm delivery details, obtain signatures, or provide delivery updates.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, delivery times, and any issues encountered during delivery.
- Ensure that the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service by being polite, professional, and responsive to customer inquiries or concerns.
