Manager of Care Management at Nebraska Total Care (MCO) with following responsibilities
· Lead multidisciplinary Medicaid care management operations supporting members with complex physical health, behavioral health, substance use, social needs, and access-to-care barriers.
· Coach and develop care managers, program specialists, and coordinators through clinical consultation, documentation review, case staffing, performance feedback, onboarding guidance, and strengths-based leadership.
· Drive NCQA-aligned documentation quality, care management best practices, workflow consistency, and audit readiness through staff education, onboarding support, and ongoing coaching.
· Oversee outcome-based programs focused on HEDIS measures, care gap closure, treatment barriers, member engagement, documentation quality, and timely coordination of services.
· Partner across utilization management, providers, community organizations, internal leaders, and state stakeholders to improve coordination, clarify workflows, and address service or placement barriers.
· Use dashboards, claims/utilization trends, and member-level detail to identify opportunities for quality improvement, program refinement, and leadership decision-making.
· Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and doing what is right while helping staff strengthen clinical judgment and decision-making.
