I work one on one with intensive special needs students. Duties include taking data daily and communicating with special education and general education classrooms to improve and adjust lesson plans.
I've been working as a para for 6 years full time and also did it during the summers while I was in undergraduate studies. I've been working with students that have varying ability and skills so I am constantly changing lessons to cater to my students.
Bachelor's degree from Springfield College in History with a minor in education. Currently in a Master's program at Western Connecticut State University for secondary education/social studies.
