I hold a MS in comp sci from St Joe's University. I have 15 years development experience. I was a TA in grad school and enjoyed teaching Java programming, and the necessary skills like logic and problem solving. I have been with my current organization for ten years and I develop healthcare software. I think I am very good instructor. An interesting fact about me is that I hold a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and coach grappling and MMA in Delco.
I am currently in my tenth year at Medecision, located in the KOP area. I work as a full stack java developer. I design and develop a lot of microservices that interact with a UI used by customers, who are healthcare providers. I also have experience working as a contractor. I spent time a couple years developing a geospatial mapping app for Amtrak.
My undergrad degree is in philosophy and ancient studies. Soon after, I realized I needed a job and went to graduate school for computer science. I hold a M.S. from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia.
