• Pre-Trip Inspection: Inspect the truck before each trip (tires, brakes, lights, fuel, oil, water, mixer drum) Ensuring the vehicle is safe and ready for the road.
• Loading the Truck: Drive to the concrete batch plant to load the mix, Verify the correct mix and amount ordered, Ensure the mix is loaded properly and the drum is rotating to maintain consistency,
• Safe Driving and Delivery: Transport the concrete to job sites on time. Navigate through traffic, construction zones, and sometimes off-road or rough terrain. Comply with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Mixing and Pouring: Keep the drum rotating during transport to prevent hardening. Adjust the mix (add water or additives if needed) as directed by the site supervisor. Operate the chute or conveyor system to pour concrete accurately into forms.
• Communication: Coordinate with dispatchers, site foremen, and plant operators. Confirm delivery details and resolve any issues on-site. Report delays, incidents, or site conditions.
• Post-Delivery Cleaning: Rinse down the truck, chute, and drum immediately after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening inside, Clean the truck at the end of each shift to maintain operability.
• Documentation: Complete delivery tickets, mileage logs, and inspection reports. Record the number of loads, time at job sites, and any issues encountered.

• Driving and Operating the Dump Truck: Safely drive and maneuver the dump truck on various road conditions, ensuring the vehicle is maintained and in good working order,
• Loading and Unloading Materials: Properly load materials onto the truck, ensuring weight limits and regulations are followed. Unload materials at designated locations, often using the truck’s hydraulic lift system.
