I’m a detail-oriented professional with a diverse background from architectural design to regulatory compliance. Currently connecting my experiences in the physical design world with the technical world through a second bachelors in Computer Engineering.
With over a decade of experience, from managing complex project modeling to supervising large-scale security operations to code adherence, I'm excited to apply my unique perspective on new opportunities.
I have an architectural background built on professional growth. My career began with a focus on risk management and public safety, where I worked for a casino supervising surveillance operations to safeguard property assets and ensure strict compliance with federal and state regulations. This experience sharpened my meticulous eye for detail and emphasized identifying and mitigating potential threats.
I later translated these skills into my architectural career, where I further developed my design expertise while working for a private design studio and later for a large-scale government facility like Miami International Airport. My priority has always been ensuring that every design and technical layout was strictly up to code, a focus on regulatory integrity that has led me to my current role enforcing development codes for the county.
I'm currently connecting all of my experiences by pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering. I am excited to apply my unique perspective - combining years of risk management, architectural discipline, and complex problem-solving - to new challenges in the engineering and technology areas.
My education stems from the Engineering Magnet program in high school, which exposed me to different aspects of engineering, where I initially focused on architecture and design. Following this path, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with an architectural background.
However, driven by my interests, I have returned to my engineering roots by pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. By combining my architectural experience with my current studies, my goal is to bring together physical and digital design—bringing my education full circle to where it first started.
