Hello. I am a 25+ yr experienced attorney looking for an in-house position in the fintech/consumer finance space. I have significant experience in online lending, consumer finance, traditional bank lending, credit cards, servicing, collections, and related regulatory matters, including data privacy and credit reporting – including TILA, GCRA, SCRA, UDAAP, FDCPA, and other regulatory matters at the federal and state level.

I built and sold and online lender, servicing platform, and auto services companies.

I very much enjoy the in-house practice where I can collaborate with operations, marketing, business development and other areas of the business. This also allows me to actively participate in the launch, roll-out and subsequent impact of new products, services and practices.

• Bilingual (Spanish) 25+ year experienced corporate attorney with an emphasis in corporate matters, consumer finance, fintech and data privacy in both an inhouse and private practice environment in US and International settings.
• Strong background in consumer credit and collections (e.g., TILA, FDCPA, FCRA, SCRA, UDAAP, fair lending, BSA/AML, GLBA, data privacy and security) includes secured and unsecured lending, credit and debit cards, auto finance, installment sales and leasing, warranties, dealer and vendor relationships, the purchase on sale of portfolios, servicing, collections, repossessions and post-judgment remedies.
• Significant Fintech and tech-related matters including the online offering and delivery of financial products. Built and operated an online lending platform and servicing operation for consumer credit, auto finance, and delinquent debt.
• Heavy concentration on financial data privacy (including studies at Seton Hall) and have acted as lead counsel in the launch of online credit and data-related financial services in the US, Canada, and the UK.
• Solid inhouse experience with private and public companies in US and International settings as a corporate

“generalist” with substantial experience in corporate transactions and funding arrangements (US and Int’l),

acquisitions, and the sale and divestiture of financial assets (including loan portfolios, servicing platforms, and mortgage and auto lending operations).
