For the past 20 years, I have been a teacher of the intellectually gifted. I am retiring from teaching and looking for an office job. As a teacher, I have acquired many skills that would be beneficial in an office environment. Some of the skills that I use on a daily basis include:

For the past 20 years, I have been a teacher of Intellectually Gifted Students. Below is a summary of some of my duties.

• Organize, screen, identify, and refer students for the Intellectually Gifted Programs using Mississippi Department of of Education Standards
• Use of Google and Microsoft products to create slideshow presentations and reports
• Collected, analyzed, and interpreted data efficiently using formal and informal measurements
• Created, executed, and adjusted short and long term plans in order to meet goals
• Effectively improvised solutions to unforeseen problems to meet the needs of individuals
• Collaborated with individual and colleagues to ensure operations ran smoothly and goals were met
• Managed multiple projects simultaneously
• MAGC- annual budget development and tracking for scholarships
• Managed behaviors through multiple reinforcement tactics to enhance responsibility and respect for others
• Developed positive relationships with stakeholders through conferences and phone calls to ensure satisfaction
• Regularly participated in professional development and training in order to continue to grow 
• Engaged individuals with creative strategies to promote critical thinking and problem solving skills

I have a Education Degree from Mississippi State University and a Master's Degree from Arkansas State University. I also have received Continuing Education training in a variety of subjects.
