I am a rising second-year law student at American University Washington College of Law with a strong interest in corporate, intellectual property, and technology law. Before law school, I worked in client-facing business roles where I gained experience negotiating agreements and working alongside attorneys, which sparked my interest in how legal teams support business operations. During law school, I have continued to develop this interest through my involvement on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team and as a staff member of the Intellectual Property Brief, where I have strengthened my legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Before law school, I gained professional experience in business and legal-adjacent roles that involved working closely with clients, contracts, and attorneys. As an Account Executive at Engine, I negotiated and structured agreements with business clients, developing strong communication skills and an understanding of how contracts support business objectives. Earlier, at Injury Imaging Solutions, I worked directly with attorneys and healthcare providers to coordinate services and manage contractual relationships, which exposed me to the legal process and strengthened my ability to operate in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments.
These experiences sparked my interest in pursuing a legal career and gave me a practical foundation in how legal teams support business operations.
I am currently a rising second-year law student at American University Washington College of Law, where I have focused my studies on corporate, intellectual property, and business law. I am a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, where I develop advocacy and negotiation skills, and a staff member of the Intellectual Property Brief, where I conduct legal research and contribute to written analysis on intellectual property issues. I earned my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences, where I developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking and worked in laboratory and clinical environments.
My combined academic and extracurricular experiences have provided me with a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and business-focused legal analysis.
