I am a dedicated, hard worker with currently seven years of customer service experience. Currently, I am a substitute teacher during the school year and a graduate student pursuing my master's in education at National University. I am passionate about helping others and have experience working with children and adults.
During the school year, I work with the following districts: Rocklin Unified School District, Western Placer Unified School District, Ackerman Charter School District, and Roseville Joint Union High School District. I work Monday through Friday for 9-10 hours per day in which I am tasked to manage classroom behavior and enforce academic expectations when the instructor is absent. There are times where I do provide a guided lesson for them and help with any questions.
Prior to substitute teaching, I was an AmeriCorps fellow for one year working at a middle school. I had serious responsibilities, I tutored all middle school students in their classes for language arts and reading. I worked Monday through Friday for 10-11 hours per day.
I also worked with the program, Exact Path, a skills based program where I collected data to monitor academic progress.
I am currently pursuing my Master's in education in order to fulfill my goal of becoming a high-school social studies teacher. Prior to this, I attended and graduated from Azusa Pacific and got my Bachelor's in history.
