Gracie Burson

Hello, my name is Gracie Burson, and I am a recent grad from Texas State University! ( Eat 'em up Cats! ) I am a dependable and enthusiastic individual, passionate about education! I have a pretty big background working with kids, and also a bit of admin work as I was a receptionist in a clinic. I have strong organizational skills and a commitment to following processes effectively.

I take pride in my patience, kindness, and understanding, which enable me to approach challenges with empathy and composure. Even in high-pressure situations, I remain focused and maintain a positive attitude, ensuring tasks are completed with care and professionalism.

• Started off as a host, and worked my way up to server . Learned great customer service skills, how to use a register, and do sales.

May 2023-August 2023

• Assisted Occupational Therapists work with children of multiple physical and cognitive disabilities through soccer, swim, and cheer.
• 20% Admin work

August 2023 - December 2023

• Helped coach Special ED children in the fall semester, made adaptive activity plans and equipment for PE class, enforced safe movement.

December 2023 - August 2024

• Greeted patients as they walked in, checked patients in, put their insurance on file, took copays, and did all scheduling in the clinic

September 2024 - Current

• Supported at every first and last practice, dealing with check in, updating physicals, and other health forms.
•  Went to many showcase events to talk about kinetic kids as a nonprofit organization
