- Tech Lead - Designed the policy data update process for the COVID-19 Relief Payments. In an extremely condensed timeframe, we created an automated process that read multiple files created by marketing to generate 22 SQL statements to update 15 DB2 tables for 1.1 million policies. This allowed us to process these refunds and get the money our customers before our competitors announced their refunds.

Developed CICS DB2 Stored Procedures using WebSphere MQ to pull current policy data from the Shelter Policy Administration System tables and generated XML messages consumed by Underwriting, Agency, and Actuarial Systems. We rewrote these later using Java Restful APIs.

Modified COBOL code for the Pricing and Marketing Merchandising Applications. Developed reporting jobs using COBOL, JCL and VSAM.
- Developer – Payroll Systems. Rewrote Tops Supermarkets Union Contracts for the CYBORG payroll system. Developed programs in COBOL/CICS to adjust the pay and pay rate scales according to the results of union negotiations. Developed reporting tools using COBOL and CICS.
