Gwendolyn Yetter

I am currently a student at Tulane University with an expected graduation date of May 2023. I will be receiving a Bachelor of Arts in political science and economics with minors in Strategy, Leadership & Analytics, and Psychology. As well as being a full-time student, I work at the Tulane Law Library as a library aide.

Tulane Law School Library, New Orleans, LA June 2022–Present Library Aide

• Created and implemented a system for digitizing Tulane Law Library historical documents
• Instructed and managed other staff members engaged in digitizing
• Effectively researched best methods for the preservation of historical records, creating digital archives, and cataloging, thereby acquiring expertise in Machine Readable Cataloguing (MARC) standards
• Developed web materials for the Library
• Collaborated with other staff members on the large-scale modernization of the Library’s checkout system
• Assisted in the day-to-day operations of the Library to ensure it fulfills its mission of supporting the research and curricular needs of its patrons
• Provided customer service to Library patrons, helping them locate materials and fix technological issues, listening to their concerns, and locating and directing them to useful resources

• Multitasked efficiently and effectively while operating the point-of-sale register, running food, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Utilized excellent customer service ability while assisting customers and resolving customer complaints

• Tracked viewer’s engagement with NOJM’s live-streamed concerts, analyzing the number of viewers and their demographics 
• Published alerts for upcoming concerts on platforms such as Yelp and the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce in order to market NOJM programming effectively 
• Assisted in preparing graphics for the Museum’s Annual Report
• Wrote descriptions for concert videos on the NOJM’s YouTube
