I'm a new grad Occupational Therapist seeking valuable experience in the school-based field. I am passionate about helping today's youth reach their full potential in and out of the classroom through participation in valued occupation!
During my time in Level II fieldwork, I gained experience in the inpatient psychiatric setting as well as skilled nursing. Both of these fieldwork experiences provided me with valuable knowledge that can be applicable to Occupational Therapy in any setting. In terms of Level I fieldwork experience, I completed a school-based rotation where I shadowed an OT and SLP in the elementary setting, which sparked my interest in school-based therapy.
I recently graduated with my Master's in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University, where I also received my Bachelor's in Occupational Science. I recently passed my NBCOT exam in November.
