Hannah Cantin

I am a junior at Michigan State University pursuing a degree in accounting through the Eli Broad College of Business. I am a motivated individual who is eager to gain experience in the accounting field while demonstrating my interpersonal, business, and technical skills. I have experience as a team member at Emagine Entertainment, as well as an internal audit intern at Comerica Bank, so I have experience working with customers and interpersonal communication, as well as in a business environment.

I am proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook), and I am passionate about working with numbers.

I am currently an Audit Intern at Comerica Bank in the Internal Audit Department for the summer of 2023. In this position, I am responsible for performing testing for different audit test steps. I participate in weekly team meetings, complete work papers, analyze company procedures, and meet with clients to obtain documentation relevant to testing. This internship has given me great insight into the internal audit field, and the importance of proper testing to ensure compliance with procedures.

My most relevant education is at Michigan State University. I am an upcoming junior, pursuing a degree in accounting. I have taken three accounting courses thus far, and numerous business related courses including those in financial, marketing, and analytic fields.

Being a student at Michigan State has allowed me to gain numerous technical skills using Microsoft Office, coding, and analytic platforms, as well as skills in time management, interpersonal communication, leadership, and critical thinking. Upon my graduation with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting in May of 2025, I intend to pursue my masters in Accounting, with a graduation date in May 2026 to pursue my CPA license.
