Experienced in academic research and writing, home health marketing, implementation and coordination of grant-based public health programs, grant-writing, HIPAA and Medicaid policy development, program compliance, training and workforce development. Special interest in rural health, at-risk populations and the role of career exploration and development in helping students find career purpose and success.
My education has consistently been relevant to my career, beginning from an undergraduate degree in Biology and History, which has given me a solid base and interest area from which to grow. My masters degree in Public Health allowed me to learn the basics from which I could work in the different jobs that I have had from South Carolina to Texas.
