Pursuing Master of Engineering Management in Industrial & System Engineering.

I am an enthusiastic and passionate person at work. I love to explore my experiences most in the manufacturing and management field.

I am also taking classes for deeping into Six sigma and R data science language for the industry to improve my skills to extend my knowledge. I had been in CM as a supporter, it gave me another sight and vision.

My first work was at an electronic manufacturing company in San Jose. As an assistant manager, I supported and analyzed production figures with factory managers to meet deadlines. We had a branch in China, I worked closely with the China team due to deal with schedules for shipping, and purchasing PCB, and semi-conductive materials.

Through these tasks, I communicated with them through email, which became a good experience to communicate with other countries with the time difference. Also, in the warehouse, I helped to manage the inventory for production line shortages, and contact suppliers and customers as well through email. If there are some shortages, then I rearrange the delivery day.

This experience helps me to understand the MPR system when I am pursuing a master's. In the shipping department, there were some coordinated logistics activities; helping create shipping request documents for customs clearance. One of my main tasks was monitoring inventory availability and overdue purchase order through a software tool.

I could learn how to manage the inventories and chance to learn how to support supply chain management in NPI procurement team at this moment.

I am pursuing an engineering management master’s degree in Industrial & System Engineering at San Jose state university. Mainly I have learned Supply Chain Management, operation planning and controlling which is about how to manage the inventory or manage the schedule with material requirements planning, master production scheduling(MPS), etc. Also, for the analysis, I took a data science class using R-language, Six Sigma management, and financial on engineering classes.
