Send a job offer directly to this candidate
I am a violin teacher and performer currently based in the Philadelphia/Wilmington area. I have over 10 years of private and institutionalized teaching experience. As a performer, I have held permanent positions and frequent sub positions with orchestras across the country, including the Delaware Symphony, Eugene Symphony, Newport Symphony, Rogue Valley Symphony, and Springfield Symphony. Currently, I teach at the Music School of Delaware, where I am full-time violin and viola faculty.
My pedagogical philosophies stem from study of Mimi Zweig, Dorothy Delay, Shinichi Suzuki, Ivan Galamian, and Paul Rolland. I am also certified in the Grossman Method, a method developed and published by my long-time private teacher, Professor Hal Grossman, that focuses on ergonomic performing and body awareness in practicing in order to avoid and prevent injury.
