Idis Quintero

My name is Idis Quintero. I live in New York City and attend the Fashion Institute of Technology. I am majoring in Advertising and Marketing Communications and hope to gain as much experience as possible in the upcoming years. I was born in Panama, but raised around many states in the United States and lived a few years oversea (Germany and Japan). I am determined to consume as much knowledge as possible within my line of study and culturally learn about new environments.

I have a total of 3 years of retail experience. I started working at a vintage consignment store in 2019, I was in charge of buying inventory and selling the store's products. I worked at Macy's in New York City selling sunglasses on a commission-based salary. I currently work for Luxottica, as a Sales Associate, and Keyholder at Sunglass Hut. I am responsible for making personal connections with my customers and hitting my monthly sales goals.

I graduated high school in 2020 and started attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in December of 2021. I will be getting my Associate Degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications in December of 2022. I plan on getting my bachelor's in the same major and a minor in international business in December of 2024.
