  • I worked with children of varying age and developmental levels, taking a vocal leadership role in creating a community environment; I led group assemblies, made snap decisions regarding the emotional and physical wellbeing of campers, and mediated conflict. A large part of my job was collaborating with other counselors to design activities, as well as maintaining a rapport with parents. I was responsible for opening and operating the office each morning, which included managing heavy equipment such as tents, large soccer goals, etc.
