Noemi Garcia

My name is Noemi Garcia. I am 21 years old. I currently work part time at a retail job. I am a full time student at Rio Hondo College. I am graduating this upcoming Spring with my associates in Psychology and Child Development. During my free time I like to read and spend time outside with friends.

I have experience working in food. My first job was at a pizza shop called Prontos Pizza in Pico Rivera. I worked there for over 1 year. I was a cashier and I also made pizzas. My next job was at a steak house in Pico Rivera called Clearman’s Steaknstein Inn. At that job I was a hostess. I worked there for about 1 year. At these 2 jobs my best skills were having great communication with managers and coworkers, I built great relationships with clients, and I was able to learn fast.

I was a cashier and made pizzas at Pronto’s Pizza in Pico Rivera. I memorized items on the menu and I was able to give recommendations to customers. I maintained cleanliness at the store and kept up with Covid 19 cleanliness guidelines. I worked there for almost 2 years.

I was a hostess at Clearman‘s Steaknstein Inn. I built relationships with customers. I had great communication skills with managers and servers. I also helped maintain restaurant cleanliness to keep up with Covid 19 guidelines. I worked there for almost 1 year.

I worked retail at Burlington. I helped in setting up merchandise for the store grand opening. I handled with money on a day to day basis. I worked here for about 4 months

I am a cashier at Ulta beauty. I help set up merchandise for new products. I am a cashier and also handle money on a day to day basis. I assist guests with finding products to their likes and needs. I have worked here for a year.

I have a high school diploma from El Rancho High School. I am currently working towards an associate degree in Psychology and Child Development. I will be graduating Spring of 2024
