I am currently a student enrolled in the mechanical engineering program at OSU. I am due to graduate at the end of 2025. I am currently looking for an internship role to fill my summer, with hopes of retaining some of the relationships I build through it and landing a career position.
I have spent multiple years in the automotive industry working as a technician. I went through 2 years of a trade program for Subaru and acquired 5 of my ASE certifications at that time. I graduated from it and went to work in the industry right when covid hit. I since decided to pursue other avenues, which led me to working towards a mechanical engineering degree.
My major is mechanical engineering, but I have a focus on manufacturing. I have done a lot of work inside of NX, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor. I have done finite element analysis before in classroom settings and am generally a quick learner for these types of things.
I recently got done with my capstone project, where my team members and I designed an oversized fixture for Cornell Pump Company so they could properly assemble their pumps with threaded impellers. Overall, the project was a success, but I believe Cornell wanted to iterate a few times before putting the assembly to use on the shop floor.
