My passion is the digital delivery of art, knowledge, culture and its monetization.
I've served the music industry for decades, first as CTO at Geffen Records through its glorious 90s phase. Next in the publishing business at Cherry Lane Music Group running its digital transformation. Next stop was Warner Music Group where I founded and ran a network licensing project. Then WIPO hired me to assist its Copyright Director. Most recently I spent two years in Pex law and policy, based as I am in the US capitol area, where I monitor legal developments in copyright.
I devoted two years to starting my education at the University of Pittsburgh and decided to switch to the University of Kentucky. At both schools I studied communication and journalism and I debated nationally.
