Worked in construction industry for 30yrs. Started as a laborer on new construction jobsites, assisting carpenters with needed tools, materials, and other general tasks. Moved into fire & water damage restoration industry as a technician in a 2 person crew performing emergency services and restoration of damaged properties for insurance companies.
Throughout my employment in construction, I have received training in water and mold mitigation, various lifts, earth moving equip, OSHA10hr, code enforcement, first aid & CPR. Operated vehicles from a daily 16ft box truck to 26ft moving trucks when needed. Transitioned into Production Industry due to Covid and family needs.
Started on the assembly line as a line worker installing parts, I was appointed back-up team leader then team leader when occasions called for it. Was able to move up within the company and bid on other positions, allowing me to take on the material handling and warehousing role for the last 5yrs. I take pride in my job along with attention to detail, strong work ethic, dependability, and respect for safety guidelines.
Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and air tools.
