I have spent over 8 years working in the golf industry. I studied Communications at the University of Southern Mississippi BA and Turf and Golf course maintenance at the University of Georgia. My most recent accomplishment is hosting the 2023 PGA championship at Oak Hill Country Club.
I started my first job at a golf course when I was 16 years old. After 5 years in of working at a small course in south Mississippi, I decided to start the path to becoming a Golf Course Superintendent. After moving to Rochester, NY, I joined the staff at the world renowned Oak Hill Country Club. I spent two years preparing for the 2023 PGA Championship. As an agronomist it is my job to understand both the game of golf and the science behind maintaining the USGA standards of playability.
