• Led daily monitoring on any parliamentary and industry-related news across various accounts 
• Pitched stories to journalists from UK national and trade media 
• Wrote media lists and then conducted media pitches for the launch of the Construction Inclusion Coalition, an initiative aimed at improving equity, diversity and inclusion in the workforce
  • Involved media pitches including pieces in The Independent, the Evening Standard, and numerous trade outlets
• Created media lists for various clients including detailed analysis on political and industry-related journalists and reasons for engagement
• Worked directly with clients to gather feedback and improve their sustainability communication strategies

Civil Service – UK Research & Innovation July 2022 – August 2022

• Researched and wrote reports and publications on the UK-EU negotiation over Horizon Europe
• Evaluated a four-month webinar series on equality, diversity, and inclusion in the engineering and technology sectors 
  •  This involved compiling data and information, synthesising the details of each webinar, and providing recommendations to future webinar series
• Engaged with bilateral relationships by drafting an op-ed highlighting the UK-US science and tech relationship 
  • The op-ed was a collaboration between UKRI and AAAS and was intended to be published for either the Economist or the Wall Street Journal

• Sourced & interviewed over 20 candidates
• Actively engaged with prospective candidates by communicating via LinkedIn and local Chinese app, WeChat 
• Filed candidates onto manatal system and wrote weekly reports on potential candidates and their contact information
