I am a studio artist in Brooklyn, New York. I studied Art History and Painting in Kansas City and achieved my MFA at Brooklyn College in 2021. I work on large paintings, inventing forms that deal with structure, nature and the presence of a fading memory.
Memories of lust, despair, and feelings that are beyond good and evil. I strive to create timeless impressions of moments aspiring to find a visual language that sustain and reiterate a kind of legend and myth of humanity, free will and what's left when the moment is no longer accessible. What is a dream and what's it mean when the dreams change?
How much is in one's control? What do you live with and let go? What do you push to know more? What does it meant to be part of an undeniable physical world and the world that is perceived through ones mind?
I have been a studio artist for the last ten years. I have developed a knack for carpentry, building my own stretchers frames as well as for my time spent working at home depot. I have worked for museums and galleries as an art handler and installer but I have always been dedicated to the craft and attention to work in my studio.
I have studied art since I was 16. I studied art history and painting in Kansas City. I received my MFA in studio art at Brooklyn College in 2021.
