I'm a freelance UX/UI designer with experience supporting non-profits and start-ups in sectors like fashion and community safety. I focus on validating concepts and understanding the core of an issue before designing. My goal isn't just to push pixels, but to solve real problems.
I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) UX/UI designer and web developer with a diverse background that spans education, healthcare, media, and creative technology. My career began as a high school Spanish teacher and medical interpreter, where I honed skills in meeting a diverse set of “user” needs. These foundations now inform my design approach. I later transitioned into web design and development, where I specialize in clean, engaging interfaces and solve.
My portfolio design projects include designing a shopping flow for the fashion app, Klotofy, and community safety app, Philly Truce. These projects involved everything from user interviews, competitive analysis and stakeholder collaboration to high-fidelity prototyping and usability tests. My web development portfolio includes health sites like Steadfast Performance Training & Lizzie Woerner Nutrition.
