My name is Jaslyn Johnson, and I'm currently studying Wildlife Biology at Missouri State University, set to graduate in May 2025. I’m hoping to pursue a career in habitat management, restoration, and wildlife rehabilitation.
I’ve gained diverse experience in wildlife biology through various leadership, research, and hands-on roles.
President of The Wildlife Society, I helped manage and promote wildlife-related initiatives. I also participated in two impactful study abroad programs: one focused on leatherback sea turtle conservation in Costa Rica and another on environmental education in Jamaica. Additionally, I completed an internship as an educator and zookeeper at Dickerson Park Zoo, where I gained practical experience in animal care. I am currently working as a wetland ecology lab researcher.
I’m currently pursuing a degree in Wildlife Biology at Missouri State University, with a minor in Sustainability and a certificate in Environmental Education. I am set to graduate in May 2025. Throughout my studies, I’ve gained a strong foundation in wildlife biology, environmental science, and sustainability practices, while also developing a passion for environmental education.
